Installation Is Simple

Installation: To be carried out by yourself or your local evaporative air conditioning company

  1. Turn the evaporative cooler off
  2. Locate the place to install the unit
  3. Measure the length of pipe to cut out
  4. Cut the pipe
  5. Insert the hose tails in the pipe
  6. Apply hose clamps and tighten
  7. Turn the evaporative cooler back on

What Is Hard Water?

All water supplies contain minerals.

The two most common minerals found in water are calcium and magnesium.

Water containing a high concentration of minerals known as hard water.

Hard water will cause damaging scale problems in any water carrying system.

What Is Soft Water?

Water that has a low mineral count is commonly known as soft water.

    We have a bore feeding into quite a large tank which we then pump to the house with an inline pressure pump. The evaporative air conditioner we had installed would block in less than 10 days, with the water squirting out the side, not just running down the pads. We had to use industrial strength de-scaler in the air conditioner and had been told we should never have installed this type of air conditioner.
    Since installing the Evap scale protection on the pressure pump and one on the air conditioner we have had fantastic results.
    In over 2 months, the air conditioner that would only run for 10 days hasn’t missed a beat. We got up onto the roof to check the pads and they are cleaner than after we had used the de-scaler.

    The scale build up is MUCH less now with your conditioner unit installed. And it seems like the scale build up that is on the filter is “softer”, and can be rinsed off with the garden house. I’m very impressed on how well it is working.
